Phil Lawson is a studio and touring drummer based in Nashville, TN.
He is currently on the road with Kelsea Ballerini and has been an active touring member of Kelsea’s band since 2018.
When not on the road Phil focuses on session work and has become a reliable name within the Nashville scene.
Having been in Nashville for the past 15 years, Phil has had the opportunity to perform with numerous artists including Kelsea Ballerini, Russell Dickerson, Lauren Alaina, Walker Hayes, Ryan Hurd, Jerrod Niemann and many more.
After graduating high school, Phil moved to Nashville in 2007 to attend Belmont University where he earned his bachelor’s degree in Music Business. While at Belmont, he was able to hone his skills by studying with drumming legends such as Derico Watson, Chester Thompson, and Zoro.
Phil continues to build his career in Nashville working with many artists, producers, and song-writers, both in recording studios and in live performances.
