Hey,
I was away for a few days on a fantastic family vacation in New York. Not my first time there, but what a great place to visit for a few days. We spent some time in a great place called Montauk, Long Island. Beautiful beaches and very relaxing. It's close to The Hamptons but much cheaper :-). We visited the Big Apple for a few days taking in the Bronx Zoo and was lucky enough to see The Lion King on Broadway. Wow, what a show... some great live drumming also during the show... bongos, etc. What a production, hard to even put into words!
In total we were gone for 5 days and although I had a great time I missed my drumming. I am still learning but I find practicing and playing a great release... comparable to Yoga, etc. I always feel great after playing. Does anyone else feel this way? Well, I would guess so since we all play often :-).
Today I have watched (and uploaded) a few Chad Smith videos. I also watched a few other Red Hot Chili Peppers videos and I am pumped to get back on the drums this afternoon. I just have to take care of a few of my duties at
Evolving Solutions first!
Hope to chat with you all soon.
Cheers,
Adrian
