Havin' some fun with a classic Steve Gadd beat. Hope you get a kick out of it!
nice kit man!
jamming some single strokes, swiss triplet and a couple of doubles maybe. i'll post a constructed solo soon, just wanted to see how the practice pad sounded.
using a moeller technique or pump on the double pedals. this is not musical, just a speed exercise.
This is using heel toe method in single stroke roll, pretty unbelievable technique! Check out "Dreammotives" other vids on u-tube!

Jonathan Knight said… - Hey Steve, so I was looking at drums on Kajiji haha... and I came across one that looked rather familiar. So I was like "Hmm... I know that kit" , so I took a closer look. And I was like "I've played that kit ...is that steve's..then I saw the Rage Against the Machine poster and was like COOL! It is steve's" Haha ..so I've been trying to convince my parents that I need a new drum set...and when I showed them that one , they said it's a "possibility" (which really means "We're too tired to think about it right now" haha) Anyway , I'm gonna talk to you about it at lessons tomorrow. Just given you a heads-up!

- Hey Steve , I won't be able to come to lessons the next couple weeks. My family is on vacation , so we're going up to my camp for a while... We'll contact you when we're back.
Oh yeah my band played our first gig on July 27th at a coffee house hosted by the interaction children's theater. It was a pretty rockin' show .. from what people said we did amazingly well, apparently they wanted an encore..but we were out of songs , sadly aha..
