- Welcome aboard Richard,
I hope you enjoy your experience with Drum fill, and it would be cool to exchange experience with you and what we have learned over the years. I spent 2 summers in Montreal when I was 15 and 17 years of age, when I first experienced Jerry Mercer's skills, and have found that there is a great environment for music there. I have returned many times to the Jazz fest and saw some awesome acts. I am very involved in the Atlantic Jazz festival, here in Halifax, and I have not been able to go there for a few years. The musicians that are playing there are finding that they are cool with coming here and doing their stuff. So I have a good "IN" with that, and meeting some great players.
Hope you meet some good people on here and maybe we can get Jerry and Ivan on here as well.
