Been playing for 20 years, but just starting to get back into it a little more seriously

Not currently in a band. Lots of stage time in both country and bar-rock bands. Starting to get that itch again though.

Tell us a little about yourself:

I'm a welder in Red Deer Alberta Canada. I have a wife and a son. I've been playing for a little over 20 years, but I'm trying to get my groove back after a little time away from my kit. I've had a double basss kit for years, but never really taken the time to learn how to use it properly. Any tips, pointers or anything else anyone can offer is greatly appreciated. Looking forward to getting to network with new and talented drummers from all over. I apologize for the SUPER-CHEEZY picture but it's like the only one on this hard drive with me and my kit : (
