Seems like there is a lack of discussion here lately. Let's hear what some of your favorites songs to jam along to when you are warming up or just blowing off some steam. In no particular order.......
1. Long Cool Woman - The Hollies
2. Bad Case Of Loving You - Robert Palmer.
3. Wishing Well - Bad Company
4. Looks That Kill - Motley Crue
5. Calling On You - Stryper.
aww dude theirs so many great tunes.
i lvoe jamming along to motley crue stuff. i like going more complex with dream theater stuff. and chilled with some reggae stuff.
when i feel intense. its rise against. lamb of god that sorta thing.
I agree... I throw on any songs that I might be into at that time to play along with. I usually like to keep it simple because I jam along most times when I'm just getting on the kit for warmup so I don't want to get to frustrated right off the bat :-)
Funky... old Chili Peppers
Jazzy/funky... Screaming Headless Torsos, Oz Noy
Jazzy/Latin... Hiromi, Hilario Duran
Rock/Prog... Rush, Dream Theater, Steve Vai, Frank Zappa, King's X, Soundgarden, Pearl Jam
Heavy stuff... Megadeth, Metallica (classic stuff is always great)
I throw on tunes every now and then... I usually spend a bit more time just playing around... rudiments, moving them around the kit.. hands and feet...
(Avant-garde metal) Tablescraps - Stolen Babies
(Math metal) The Sun of Nothing - Between the Buried and Me
(Reggae) Smoke Two Joints - Sublime
(Prog) My Divided Falling - Three
(Southern metal) I Feel Like I'm Taking Crazy Pills - The Holly Springs Disaster
(Techno) Harder, Better, Faster, Stronger - Daft Punk
I like playing to different styles of metal, but once in a while I'll throw in something completely different, such as techno or reggae.

There's too many to name, but basically anything by Zeppelin (John Bonham) like The Song Remains The Same, or the live version of Whole Lotta Love. Love to try and keep up with jazz classics too, but can't play them note for note. Love playing Mellencamp favorites note for note (Kenny Aronoff always had such memorable drum parts to me). And obviously anything like In The Air Tonight by Phil Collins or even stuff like early Motley Crue too! (classic fills)! Lettuce not forget Sabbath too, such as Wicked World, or Warpigs. It's all good! Even banging away to ACDC can be very satisfying sometimes!
